Among all the different makeup, lips makeup is probably the easiest one to do yet it gives you visible changes to your look. But, if you really love your pairs of lips or if you really don’t, you should pay more attention to lips makeup as good makeup can make you love them even more no matter what are their color and shape. Indeed, there is a bunch of knowledge when you come to makeup, but the following passage is just a simple guide that can help you do the makeup quick and easy.

Sometimes, people will find annoyed by their big or small lips. It is true that if you put on lipstick improperly, it will make you big lips even bigger and you small lips even smaller. To make them look bigger or smaller probably does not require plastic surgery, but only foundation, lips liner and lipstick.

First, apply a thin layer of light foundation on your lips evenly. Then apply a little bit of powder. These two steps will help you remove the color and help the lipstick color to last longer time.

Choose the lip liner with the matching color to your lipstick. Rest your elbows on the table (this help you reduce your hand vibration and give you smoother lip outline), then draw the outline of the natural lip line starting for your upper lip first, and then your lower one. If you want your lips to look bigger, draw the border outside your original lip line, if you want them to look smaller, draw the border inside your original lip line.

Now, you can apply your lip stick for the first time, then blot with tissue by pressing slightly, and then reapply the lip stick again. It is better to use a brush to apply your lip stick if possible. Different lip color can also give you a little bit different on the thickness of your lips, the lighter colors make them look thicker while the darker ones make them thinner.

After applying lipstick, probably, you may wish to apply lip gloss to make your lips shine. For those who have fuller lips have to be very careful, though glossy lips are really tempting, but the glossy effects will very possibly make them look even thicker, so it is always better not to apply gloss.

Just by following the above easy steps, you will be able to have your face changed visibly with the least effort and lip makeup is that easy and fun. But be careful to your lips as they are same as other skin part which require good skincare to make them beautiful naturally.

Lip Makeup makes the difference between plain lips, and lustrous lips. From lip gloss to lip stick, you are never out of options to play up your lips. For lips that are on the thin side, lighter glossier shades are better to help plump up the looks of your lips. For larger lips, wear darker shades to kind of tone down the size of your lips.

Lip makeup isn’t just lipstick. It’s also in the form of a lip brush and color. You can take eye shadow, dip an applicator wand in water, dip it into your eye shadow and apply it to your lips. You may want to apply a little Vaseline first if your lips are kind of dry. It will give you a cool new color. Or mix two eye shadow colors together and apply with the applicator wand.

Another way to make your lips appear fuller is to apply foundation to your lips but extend a little past your natural lip line. Set them in powder and then put on your favorite lipstick. Then, either put a little gloss over it or leave just as is. This is a trick that professional make-up artists use.

For a night out a killer red lip tint is a great way to show off full pouty lips. Make sure to not go too overboard on your eye makeup if you do try the red shade. Less is more. Or go with a unique shade that has shimmer in it. That is both pretty, stands out, and is fun. A little sparkle is also expressive over lip gloss or another lip shade.

You could also try one of those plumping kits to make your lips fuller. But keep in mind they work by irritating your lips, thus causing them to swell up and appear thicker. Temporarily, that’s probably fine. But it will probably not be so great if you used it too much.

They also have pearl-like shades out on the market. Perfect for a casual night out or even a date since it’s make up for your lips, but is not super fake looking.

Lip liner is supposed to be a thing of the past for now. Unless you use a shade lighter than your natural lip color leave it in your bag or don’t buy it-unless you are a trendsetter. Of course you could get a shade and fill in your entire lip rather than just lining them. That is another fun way to wear lip makeup.

Lipstick has been a beauty necessity among women, it seems, as far back as the pharaohs. Cleopatra had lipstick made by crushing carmine beetles, which provided a deep red pigment to the lips. Then along came lipsticks that gave shimmering effects, by using the preadolescence in fish scales. Red lips and white faces became a fashion statement during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I. But, by this time, the lipsticks were made from beeswax and stains from plants. Later, the movie industry helped lipstick gain popularity, and it became an everyday addition to many woman’s faces.

It’s a fact of life and as a woman ages, her lips get thinner and smaller. It’s not the end of the world. If a woman doesn’t have the financial ability or inclination to get collagen injections, there are alternative methods to enhance and keep the lips looking desirable.

Lipstick looks best on smooth lips, so always use a lip balm before applying lipstick, especially in wintertime or when in the sun. Before any lipstick is applied, begin with a good quality lip liner. Outline the natural boundary of your lips, then color in with the lip liner pencil. This will keep the lipstick in place without feathering or bleeding.

Lip Tips:

Matte lipstick is the longest lasting, but is also dry.
To get extra definition, apply lip liner (again) after applying lipstick.
Moisturizing lipsticks are more likely to bleed than creme lipsticks.
Lip gloss makes the lips look fuller.
Medium colors make the lips look larger.
Neutral lip colors will match any color of skin or apparel.
Sheer lipstick and gloss does not last long.

Tips for 40, 50, and beyond:

Aging is a part of life, and if we learn to appreciate our faces we will feel more comfortable, and live a happier, stress-free life. Young women dwell on imperfections and flaws even though they’re at the best physical state of their lives. But, many older women who feel good about themselves, and accept their faces for what they are, rejoice in living.

If you fret about facial lines and wrinkles, and want to feel better about your looks, the first step is to change your attitude about aging. Start to evaluate aging ideas and beliefs, and where you got them. If you view older women as unattractive, then you are going to have a hard time looking in the mirror as you age. I’ve met many women 50, 60 and beyond who are very attractive and self-confident, even though they have lines, wrinkles, and maybe not-so-perfect bodies. They’re attractive because they feel good about themselves and know that beauty is much more than the outside wrapper.

Aging gracefully is all about taking care of yourself, staying fit, using skin care products regularly, diet, and positive qualities. As we age, we must learn to care for our skin and wear our makeup differently. Here’s a few tips to get started on the road to being a beautiful woman of age:

1. Always use a moisturizer. Moisturizers help makeup glide on effortlessly, and keeps the skin moist.
2. Use a good concealer and foundation to hide dark spots under the eyes.
3. As we age, our skin tends to become dry. Use power sparingly, as power tends to accentuate lines.
4. Go easy on the eye shadows. Always use mattes and avoid iridescent and shimmery shadows attract light and accentuate lines and wrinkles. Stick to earthy tones, and apply dark colors to the outside of the eyelids in an upward motion.
5. Eyebrows are the frame of the face, but often as we age, eyebrows become less full or wiry. Use feather strokes to fill in sparse areas, and use a lighter color on the eyebrows than your hair.
6. Use blush to bring out a brightness to your face. But, blush should be just a glow, now make your cheeks look like two big, red apples!
7. Use lip liner to keep your lipstick on your lips instead bleeding vertical lines of color around them.

Makeup should be used to accentuate your best qualities, and to make you feel better about yourself. Pay more attention to the positive features of your face, and less about trying to cover or hide lines or wrinkles. Show off the beautiful you.

Lipstick has gone through many changes and many fashions rotate around lipstick colors. Fashion statements can be made or broke with the right or wrong color of lipsticks. Here are some of the lipstick changes throughout the past fifty years.
